Nicola, qualified yoga teacher, Champion Olympic Weightlifter at just 22, and now trainee Sport Psychologist, is a fantastic example of how weightlifting can empower women. A recovered anorexic, yoga and weightlifting helped Nicola find strength and power, and helped her challenge self-imposed limitations.
Nicola runs Mind Muscle Yoga, offering inspiration and motivation to yoga enthusiasts with private yoga sessions, classes and workshops, online yoga, and yoga for performance. I first met Nicola when I attended her class at the BodyPower Expo in 2013 and she inspired me from the very start of the class.
