So frozen yoghurt, or “froyo” as the modern trend of mashing two words together seems to have deemed it, is the big thing these days. Stores like Snog, Lick and Pinkberry are taking over the high street… why they all have such weird names I have no idea.
Anyway, unfortunately we can’t all have a fresh cardboard container of delicious froyo just about whenever we fancy it. Ohhhhhh.
But! There is a solution. I call it… “Instant Froyo”. And what’s more… it’s completely guilt free!
170g greek yoghurt (Total is great)
1/2 cup frozen fruit
Seeds (sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds etc.)
Granola (this homemade sugar free one is lovely)
This is the best part… all you need to do is chuck the yoghurt and frozen fruit in a blender and whizz until smooth! The fruit should stay cold enough to make the yogurt super cold like froyo, with no need to re-freeze. Enjoy straight away to prevent melting!
You could even try adding some coconut cream to add a slightly tropical twist to your froyo.
